About us

The washing well was first established back in 2009. In 2011, after working within the company for a time, Kim chose to purchase the business, when the owners decided to sell, and continued to run the little launderette.

Starting with small changes to the running of the business, the little washery grew more and more each year, learning from experience and listening to what the local clientele required, has led to the decision to expand the business, after the Washing Well was bursting at the seams, and so there was the creation of Well Washed Ltd, allowing the floor to be fully opened up back to a community focused launderette Glastonbury wanted.

Well Washed Ltd, established in 2017, houses our Lagoon Dry Cleaning System, along with the new linen hire service and the overflow of all the service washes for local businesses, everyone within the business is very excited about all the new services that are becoming available and are keen to find ways to help our clients, so who knows what will be available with us in the future…watch this space!

“I love  this team, it’s more like a big family, minus the bickering, we are all very family orientated, as the majority of us are all mums, so we know how hard it can be, working here, I think gives us all a bit of respite of being a mum and we have a laugh.”
